Tis’ the season to express what you’re thankful for and for us it’s this great community in Maine we get to work alongside so frequently. To be able to cook with such fresh, locally grown farm fresh ingredients couldn’t be more of a treat.
This Summer we were invited to cook for some of the contributors of Maine Farmland Trust and friends. The event was put on by Allagash Brewing and held at Bumbleroot Farm, two Maine based companies that we are so grateful to work with on the regular. Getting to offer our clients locally farmed vegetables is really something that is so important to us. We are so proud of the efforts of Bumbleroot Farm recently as they headed to Washington D.C. to discuss the importance of organic agriculture and the threats climate change pose for our young farmers. Way to go Ben!
